Bespoke
-
Bespoke commissions begin with a conversation around requirements, context, and intent. From there, dimensions, materials, and detailing are developed to suit the individual project, with scope for discussion and refinement as the design is developed and resolved.
Clients are welcome to visit the workshop during the making of their piece, offering insight into the process and progress of their commission.

A 50% deposit is required upon confirmation of a bespoke commission, with the balance due on completion.
Lead times vary depending on the scale and complexity of the work, but are discussed clearly at the outset. Delivery costs are calculated based on location and requirements.
Bespoke commissions are undertaken on a limited basis, with each project approached carefully, without haste, and all enquiries are welcomed.

Factory-produced furniture incurs significant impact environmentally. Many of our clients are conscious of that, and here materials are selected with longevity, performance, and responsibility in mind. Timber used in bespoke commissions is carefully hand selected and FSC certified wherever possible, chosen for its suitability to the brief.
Making is approached with the same attention to efficiency and care as across the wider practice. Offcuts and waste are consciously re-purposed within the workshop or used for heating, and sustainable alternatives are sought for all consumables used during production.
Bespoke commissions offer the opportunity to develop a piece of furniture in direct response to a specific space, use, or idea. Each project begins with a conversation, allowing requirements to be understood clearly before design and making begin.
The process is collaborative and structured, with decisions guided by experience, material knowledge, and a clear sense of purpose. Each commission reflects Namon’s established design language, shaped carefully in response to the client, the space, and the intended use.
