The Cùram Collection is shaped by a commitment to responsible making. It brings together a small range of solid wood furniture developed to minimise waste, reduce unnecessary process, and make thoughtful design more accessible.

Each piece is designed for efficiency. Components require minimal machining, can be flat-packed for transport, and are produced with the assurance that all waste generated during making is re-purposed within the workshop.

Furniture in the collection is made from locally sourced, character-grade oak. Decisions around material selection, construction, pricing, and packaging are approached with the same care, ensuring the collection remains considered and durable.

Cùram Bench

  • The Cùram Bench has a simple, contemporary form informed by traditional croft-house furniture. Each piece is handcrafted and made to order, using locally sourced oak.

    Elongated wedge-shaped seat components improve comfort, while the generous splay of the legs creates a rigid and lightweight structure. Designed as a two-person bench, it sits comfortably alongside the Cùram Dining Table and also works well as an occasional piece in a lounge, hallway, or bedroom.

Cùram Chair

  • The Cùram Chair continues the playful simplicity of the Cùram collection, crafted entirely from character grade oak.

    The solid seat is formed from two tapering boards that draw gently towards one another, leaving a subtle central gap; a small but distinctive detail that echoes the language of the wider collection. Circular legs splay outwards, giving the chair a lightness and stance that feels both stable and spirited.

    The backrest forms a statement T-shape, joined to the seat with a curved laminated veneer that provides a gentle spring. This quiet flexibility brings comfort without complication.
